Tracking: With the new National Curriculum for D&T at KS3, many schools have opted to keep levels of some form to track a progression of knowledge and skills. The sheets below have adapted the old format into Design, Make, Evaluate and Know. The coloured sheet will remain at the back of a pupil's exercise book and can be used by the teacher to plan which areas of the design process and which skills to teach for each project. The progression chart is for pupils to see the rate at which they have progressed across Y7 and Y8 during each term (in this case, between a rotation of 3 subject areas). The worksheets are available in order to differentiate tasks between low, middle and high achievers.
