Literacy in D&T
Literacy Support cards : As literacy becomes more of a focus across all areas of the curriculum, it is important to demonstrate how many skills we deliver across the design process. This range of support cards have been produced for pupils to access during lessons to help their work. There are many key words that we use to enable pupils a memorable way in which to develop analytical skills, annotate ideas, discuss new and existing products and evaluate effectively.
See JambleD&T Store page for downloads.
Literacy and Numeracy mats: These have been printed in A3 and laminated, stored in a PoS display for pupils to use throughout D&T lessons. These documents have been produced by Lee Van-Baaren and Dave Bausor of Ely College.
Numeracy in D&T
A set of cards to assist in the delivery of Numeracy in Design and Technology lessons. These should be useful to all schools, however, they are designed to meet the areas of Design, Manufacture, Evaluation and Knowledge.
